Yea thats a no-go on the rebuilds for the fronts! What a pain ... Why did they do that ? You can rebuild the rear but not the fronts??

Youll have to save some money and get some Works / Elka / TCS or ?

If I go to an aftermarket shock , is there one that offers more travel than the others while using the stock a- arms? ( besides the KINGS that I've heard are real pricey).

Hey Phillip, I just had my rear shock rebuilt by Works Performance in CA. The price for a rebuild of the shock (valve replacement [heart transplant is what it's called] and seals) including over night shipping was 201.70 They did a great job and it makes a huge difference. Here's the page to find them.

It soaks up the bumps way better and allows me to run faster. I do mostly high speed trail riding, so soaking the bumps is a biggie. I also have to avoid too high of an impact because i have had knee surgery. Works custom sets the shock for your weight, bike specs, and style of riding, good people that will work with you to get it to you when you need the shock too. I had them send it to me over night for two day air shipping price.
