HI

I had a recall on my baja 650 x -04 but i live in sweden and the garanti doesnt apply here. so a took it apart and i have 2 questions.

How much grease should i put in the rear axle should i fill it up or only grease were the bearings are??
and what type of grease do you recomend?

I used heavy wheel bearing grease. Or the kind you would use to grease the front end on your car. After packing the bearing full of grease, I put a little bit in the carrier.

I used a marine grease.I packed the bearings by hand,put grease on the races then i put in the seal.
After the seal is in i put in a generous amount of grease behind it.
