Everybody here presumes a stock bore means a stock stroke as well. So........how longs that stroke now?

mr hp might as well build his own engine for the ds650 to make it an ds800 that will run with gas and then we will have our ds800's that we have always wanted and just make it to be able to fit into the ds650 frame with little mods now that would be sick he def has the knowledge to do so I would def buy it.

 

Bombrider, there is already 800cc motors out there. Made from a stock Ds. Or are you talking about the twins?

Hey Choose, I hope you do hit that number. Heck i'm a stock bore dude myself. I am positive it isnt possible without nitrous, or a drag frame. So it wont be a stock bore Ds that makes the 4.0. But rather a stock bore on nitrous. I still hope it happens. I am really considering doing the suspended drag chassis. But no one out here will care if its fast or not. There is no races out here that support drag frames, besides the few that put on 300' drags. And well......in my best Austin Powers voice....."thats just not my bag.....baby".

I am hoping that my stock bore will be able to do under 5 seconds with Nitrous,that should be possible right?I will eventually take mine to some of the local dirt drags to see what it can really do.What would be a realistic goal for my stock bore in 300'?

 

Yes Mike it is very possible with a little set up work

 

Glenn i am hoping for under 5 seconds but i realize that will only happen with a lighter rider and Nitrous.Set up is what i am going to work on now including front tires,gearing, fuel, weight savings and anything else that will enhance performance.I am already trying to figure out just how much it will cost to have the big bore drag DS i want to have built eventually.I am guessing$$$$$$$$$$$
