If it were me I would leve Albany heading South. take the Beltline rd/Florence exit and head west. Follow the signs to Florence. Once you hit 101 turn left. As you head south you will get the oppertunity to pass several staging areas for the Florence dunes. Depending on time once you reach Reedsport stop at the Oregon Dunes interprtive center. Here you can get maps and info on all the Oregon Dunes. Aftyer leaving the interpritve center head south to Winchester Bay. When you reach Winchester follow the signs to Umpqua Dunes ORV area. You will see some oof the biggest sand dunes in Oregon.

If you have time head South on 101 and check out Coos Bay. Than head east.

I had planned to make the trip but forgot that Hap has a dwarf car race Sat. night[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img] Would of had to ride stockers anyhow & that aint to much of a thrill. You guys rip it up for me!!!!!!!!!

 

650Viper....you have probably left already, but if not, yes Multnomah Falls is right off the side of the freeway, no extra traveling needed!!! Have a safe trip.

No coincidence, its the same. Baja, the falls were great, thanks for pointing that out or we would have passed it right up. I will tell you that was one of the nicest places I have ever been, beautiful! Thanks Sand45 for running over and catching me, I would have missed out on all the fun. Hope you guys make it out to ds days, we'll see you there. Sandman, you are the man! Thanks dont say enough, it might not have seemed like much but man, that was great! Although short, its an experience I will never forget. That place ROCKS!! I have already talked with the wife, we are canceling our yearly nascar trip to Vegas, Florence here we come. March or april next year, we'll see you again, Man you guys thank again, Jed and Chuck!
