Default pilot jet

Hello, I changed my jet today on my 2000 DS650. I got a 165 mikuni large jet with my HMF slip on. thats what the hmfengineering site said to get, as a jet. I heard of other people running 175 mikuni jets maybe mines to low of a jet? Also Does anyone know about the piolet jets and how to adjust them? step by step directions on how to do it would be greatly appreciated... thank you -rick

If you changed out the main, you were millimeters away from the pilot! To change the pilot, its the same process to get to the main (take float cover off) there will be 3 total jets in there, the main which you have already discovered, the pilot, and the idle. The idle looks like the main, and the pilot is about 3/4 inch long, with a pointed tip and holes in it.

Someone might still have a picture of it on here somewhere.
