ported intake

Default ported intake

i was wondering if anybody knows how big of diffrence a ported intake from mr horse power makes. and were can you tell low end top end or both[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

Default ported intake

I think its one of those mods where its doesn't produce huge gains on it own, but it compliments other mods which can add up to some good gains. The stock intake has obvious flaws, you don't need to be an expert to see them. I have ported my own with good success, but the quality of HP research is top notch.

Default ported intake

I had the intake on before my carb and it made a differance, not as marked a difference as the end cap made but it was a worth while mod for the price. especialy if you are going to head down the road of a carb later.

the power gain with the end cap alone was most noticible in the low end . but when the manifold went on i would say i felt the increase higher up.
