I've read about lowering your compression by useing 2 base gaskets, but could you increase it by removing the gasket completly and useing a gasket replacement sealant to seal it ? Thanks.

 

yes, by making it thinner or removing it all together in theory, would raise your compression.( if your valves dont smack your piston) but i think your main problem would be getting it seal without a gasket..i use a gasket and a ton of sealant and im having trouble sealing mine..

 

by changing the gasket thickness may change your timing some
