Default Bigger Pilot jet?

I put the new 450r carb on the DS and am trying to get it jetted. I have followed the directions from some of the earlier post pertaining to setting the air/fuel screw. I can kill the engine by screwing it in to about 1/2 turns from bottom. the problem is that when I back it out, I can take the fricken thing the whole way out and it still doesn't shut off. Does this mean I need to go with a bigger pilot? Sorry, I don't remember what size is in it, stock for the 450r I suppose.

Default Bigger Pilot jet?

I believe stock is 48, I had to use a 55 on my carb for the predator. I live at 5000' wish I had a dyno shop near by would be worth the $60.00 to gotten it tuned in. I have a b^tt load of spare jets now. The bigger pilot jet was needed to keep mine from poping on decel, from coming off top end.

Hope this helps.
