Default Swingarm bushing removal?

How do I get the bushings out of my swingarm so that I can put them in my new arm. I'd buy new ones if needed but it looks like a part that doesn't really wear much.

I'm talking about the ones in tyhe upper part that the pivot bolt goes through..

Vegas, Im not real sure if you can get them out without damaging them. I think you will be better off to buy new ones...thats what I ended up doing. Just my 2 cents

my swingarm had a bad weld from the factory, and I got a new one under warranty after my very first ride when i noticed it.
it came with no pivots, they said I had to reuse the ones from the other swingarm. but they cannot be removed without damaging them. i took it back to the dealer, handed them the swingarm and said "if you can get them out without damage I'll reuse them, but if you tear them up trying you gotta buy them!". Needless to say, I got a new set covered under warranty.
They fit so tight I had to use a hydraulic press to install them.

I cut the swingarm at bushings in half and pulled them out without damage, but I had to throw the old swingarm away

I put new ones in when I got my Ace swingarm. Big hammer on concrete with wood under the bearing. didn't need the press just the BFH. When you get the bearings in test the pivot bolt and see if it goes in smooth. Mine was a pain in the A$$ to put in.

So you guys are tellin' me that those bushings are ruined when removed no matter what???

I'm gonna take my stock swingarm in for powdercoating... (Do you HAVE to remove them??)
And it seems like a total biaaatch to get out those bushings without ruining them.

IF I buy new ones to be proactive...
What's the cost that most of you paid? And how long is the wait to get'em??
I don't have much time before halloween trip... and need to make sure she's all together!

HELP!!!

I looked down the tube... and it looks like there's no needle bearings in the pivot.
IS this true?? If so, why can't I leave them in, powder coat and then re-lube??

Anyone have any??

Well... never mind. I beat mine out.

Not too bad, but they now need to be replaced.

Otherwise, I'll be ordering at the dealer in the am (Tuesday).
