Outlander 800 V-twin, Made cover of DW

77 mph would only be 60mph for the brute top speed, ( 60 x 1.28%= 76.8), my 650 in stock form would run 68 all day, so I have to think the brute would run 68/70 mph.
That's the problem I have with the write up. instead of giveing real #'s it's percent, but of what?
They use a play on words, lightest vtwin in the industry, makes you think the outlander is the lightest at 689 lbs when the prairie is 605. I think they are talking about the motor itself, but make you think it's the bike.
I'm not in any way running down the bike, Bomb makes great bikes. I just think that the marketing people took too long of a lunch hour before the write up.
There will be a bunch of people expecting a 90 MPH superbike, when in fact they'll get a 75 mph superbike.
If it's a 90 mph bike, I'll get one...if it's a 75 mph bike, better get her tuned up...lol

639lbs....not 689.....I don't wanna be a stickler about htat, but it's 50lbs and thats alot.
Bomb didn't do the write up, the magazines did. they just dynoed everything and the mag guys wrote it down how they wished. You have the read the articles twice to get what they are saying. I know what you mean though, some people read it once and dont' pay attention and jump to conclusions.
I think the range on the torque is gonna be the best yet and i'm talkin all the way through the rpms. Smooth and always there. Most others don't always have what you want for torque before and after peak. I think the bomb is gonna have it whenever you want it at just about any rpm range.
