You know, with the truck that high, it would have come close to clearing over the bike and he could have just taken the rider out..... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] I'm just kidding, my neighbor who is an undercover cop has set up some stings out here to recover quads. He knows how much I enjoy them.

 

My pops did think he ran the guy over at first. The guy got so close and the truck is so high that he couldn't see him. The quad hit the right front tire of the truck and my dad thought it was the guy.....damn it....almost got 'em!

 

"My father and my brother handed out Reward fliers all over and they got a call about an hour ago from some kids saying they saw a guy on a DS Baja."


Holy crap! he found out in the morning that the DS was stolen, made up fliers and got them passed out and even got a response! Found the A$$hole and got the police involved with the arrest all before dinner?......Thieves must move rather slow in your neck of the woods......[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] Here the part would have been on e-bay before lunch.......

Right on man! My wifes Blaster was recently recoved, totally thrashed I might add. Thank God for insurance. The pisser is the guy turned himself in, where the cops meet him with open arms and lots of hugs and kisses, and this is the gods honest truth they took him out to dinner. TO SERVE AND SHOW A GOOD NIGHT OUT ON THE TOWN I guess.

Scoundrel, actually all of this went down at about 1 AM the next morning...so basically it was only gone for 23 hours. The real kicker is that he found the guy riding it only about 2 miles away from our house. According to him he wasn't going to scrap it...he just wanted it. Some criminals really are dumb. You have to be ignorant to steal a quad and then ride it around the very next day...in the same freakin' area you stole it from!
