Alright guys I'm in the middle of taking the carb apart and cleaning it as we speak, but anyways I decided while it was apart to check the valve clearances and sure enough I could not even get a .0015 feeler gauge in so I am having them ground down tomorrow at the machine shop and a freshly cleaned carb so I should be in good shape. Thanks for all the help

 

Just a suggestion but make sure the tank vent isnt stopped up. Take the gas cap off to check this while starting it
