When will the 2nd and 3rd production runs be? I am very much interested in the DS, just want to be sure they get all the bugs worked out. By the way has anyone seen a brochure for the 650 yet? I cant seem to get the factory to respond to my email let alone send me anything.

I picked up a brochure way back in July/August of last year at a dealer in Sacramento CA. It had both the DS and the Traxter in it. Have you tried any local dealers?

alock, sandmanblue: please list all tire/rim/paddle info for the banshees and DS650s. Were they both running 10" rear rims? Did they both have 8 paddles? What were the exact tire dimensions? What type of front tires did each have?

I have also seen it in the "wild". I was at Glamis a few weeks ago and I saw one at Olds Hill in stock form with 8 paddle haulers. I spoke with the owner who was impressed. He did mention that he had to loosen the preload up a bit on the suspension due to it being stiff as a board. He went up the hill the few times. It was impressive. It pulled a strong third gear all the way to the top. I raced it on my '00 Banshee (FMF pipes, B Reeds, PF Filter, SSII Paddles) and gracefully beat it by a few bike lengths. So the moral of the story is that the DS650 is not the Banshee killer in stock form that many have made it out to be.

DS650 at $7000 + tax freight etc.
Banshee, pipes, reeds, pro-flow at $5500 + t,f,etc

I thought this thing was suppose to do 100 mph?
I'm really dispointed, I was hoping that quads would finally catch up to sleds in power!
I've but alot of time and money in my banshee, and its nothing compared to the power of my Indy 500.
