The Raptor 700EFI is only a 686 with EFI, the specs are on yamaha.com. How does the ds do agains the 686 rappy? I know the 660 is no proplem for the ds.

As for the sled talk going on here, For 2006 in Alberta there were 450+ skidoos to 98 polairs thats a 4:1 ratio, ski-doo is king of the sled world now, and they have never be last. The Apex is heavy brute, It weighs more than Bombys RT 1000 SDI which have tones more power, and I know you can turbo an Apex but you have to spend alot $ to get it to go with the bombys go stock, That just don't seam right. Does it?.

686's will do well against a bomb DS up a dune drag. Im not sure on a flat drag how well they do.

 

Bomb could respond to this fairly easily. . . The stock jug can be bored from 100mm to 102mm very easily. The EFI could be taken from the BMW F650.

Is this one of the suprises Bomb has up their sleaves?

I was at the Bomb dealership today and one of the sales guys told me that he had just been with the Bomb sales rep this weekend and got to try out the new 800EFI. After telling we what a sweet ride it is, I asked him about the new sport quad. After making me swear I was not a Bomb employee and would not use his name (I'm sure they all say that), he told me the new sport quad would be a 450 Twin cylinder two stroke with EFI. Sounds like a big banshee to me!

 

If it is a 2 stroke, by Bomber, and a decent sport quad .... I'm in.

 

It is 2 hours past midnight, meaning Tuesday June 14th is here at the HQ of Bombardier - still nothing on the web site. That being said, they do have a banner ad stating that on Tuesday June 14th they will release a new website and seemingly new information, perhaps more new models as well? I guess we will have to wait for the morning to see.
