You can take all the "shootouts" and put them in one bucket and you won't have beans.

I got mine direct from Cometic. They have several thicknesses and diameters to choose from. Google Cometic.

Bigshow, (or anyone for that matter)

You guys recall the thickness you used? Also I can't remember the diamter of the bore (is it 105?). What did you guys shell out for the gaskets?

can everyone tell me what thicknesses they used. I see one person used 0.045, how bout anyone else. Also if you removed the ss oring did you fill it with anything. and also did you use any kind of liquid sealant w the gasket or just put it on dry? thanks for your time

I installed it dry.
.045
and filled the groove in with machinable epoxy and had it surfaced.

ds650king, i just bought the gasket straight from cometic, slapped some pliobond( not sure if it was needed)on it, and put it in...i have had six or seven real hard rides on it so far and i havent seen the first drop of oil or coolant....there are quite a few guys running the tvi motor that did it this way with out removing the stainless steel oring, and so far i havent heard of any of them leaking a drop yet...a couple of them are now being able to run nos now...im very impressed with my results..i just wish i would of done it sooner... good luck
