who can lighten fly wheel on ds 650

 

The Bom, HP Research, TVI all can probably lighten it.

Can you get your flywheel pulled?

The Preacher is probably the least expensive. If you can get it pulled I can hook you up with him for the work. I can't remember if it was a Bill or a Bill and a half for the work??

 

I can get it pulled, I wanted to make sure somebody could lighten it first, I lighten my predators fly wheel and man it reved real good.

 

I did this to my EX - This is a good mod.

 

What's involved in lightening it? Is it a hole pattern or some similar way of removing material?
I've been a machinist for 20+ years and have access to CNC Lathes and milling machines as well as conventional milling machines so all I need to know is what work is performed.

 

SCOUNDREL, You should be able to do it then, you take it off the inside of the flywheel, I forget how much you take off [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

 

Anybody have dimensions or pictures on the lightened flywheel?

 

hpd, took off one pound of weight off my fly wheel on my predator and it was on the outer side.

 

HPD says they will be able to do the lighten in about 3 weeks, YE HA.
