I have not had a chance to install it yet but has anyone had any problems with the plastic bowl on the 48 hv warping from heat? I did not want to bother mrhp with this ? so maybe one of you have some imput about this .

Myself and 2 of the guys that I ride with run the 46 HV and none of us have ever had a problem with the plastic bowl. We ride in pretty hot temps at the dunes so I think that you should be just fine.

No problems here with the plastic bowls on the 46HV or the 44.

All's fine with mine. I thought about this also when I saw how close the exaust runs to it.

Thanks guys im getting ready to install my 730 big bore and i dont want to run into any problems. Eric said everything will be fine as long as we take our time and read the instructions.
