Default New Bars

I put some new bars on my DS and they hit the gas tank. Does anybody make a kit to lift them up so they will clear?

Man you need a bar clamp. Alba has one. Good luck.

I took a 1/2" thick aluminum & cut it to fit the top steering stem plate. Then I drill the hole out to match the top plate & got 1/2" longer handle bar clamp bolts. This shimmed up my handles bars enough to clear the tank & was cheap. The alba bar clamps or trail bars clamps might be easier.

I have the alba bar clamp and it works and looks great....you could build something very easily with little skills and it would also work.
