DS Days 05- September 2-5th Sand Mountain Nevada

I'd be up for different places too. I'm looking forward to ds days this year. It is a hike and a half though. The only thing I'm worried about is my dually isn't 4 wheel drive and our fifth wheel weighs about 15k. After seeing how many guys got stuck last year, I'm a lil nervous...coral pink is also some cool riding too....

Its not any softer than pismo i think its just many people are use to packed/paved parking areas like dumont and most of the oregon dunes. There are plenty of people there that will pull you out if you do get stuck, dont let that keep you from coming.

I am with jetsnow - don't decide not to come for the soft parking area. You will NOT get stuck out there, delayed perhaps - until we get enough 4x4 power to pull you to your spot, but not stuck! Though I'll personally just sit back and watch - my truck is 4x2 and just made it in and out on its own. Then again with some luck I'll be carpooling in a 4x4 hahaha. Marky also has a 1994 Ford F250 that is set up pretty well to help tow people out - so if he is there I'm sure he'll help too if he hasn't found beer cooler yet.
That beer cooler could be the longest 'delay' in getting in or out of the place!

No wories about getting stuck. There is always someone there with a good size truck to pull you out. The first DS days we pulled in at 2:30 or so and didn't see the soft stuff and got stuck almost instantly as the truck was in 2 wheel drive. We found Sean (jetsnow) and woke him up and he pulled us out in his sleep, literaly he didn't remember it in the morning. He came even over to ask us when we had pulled in. LOL
The third DS days I pulled Richard's motorhome around quite a bit just so he wouldn't get stuck.

Hey, Bud and Craig. I will get in touch with you guys in Aug. Maybe we can try to head out together.
I was supposed to hook up with Mario, but I'm not sure if he's going to be ready.
Sparky, are you going?

Well I hear rumor there might be some kentucky boys there this year. I hope they, along with many others come give there try at being king of the mountain, four stroke style. Man Jeffinrivercity, hows that bullseye on your back feeling? I am going to love seeing everyone try and dethrone the king!
