Apparently my tastes don't align with the rest of the market, but I'm finally to the point that I can afford a 500 Traxter, and they've been dropped from the lineup! Does anyone know of a midwest dealer that still has any in stock? I'm in the Kansas City area. Thanks for the help guys!

 

Any John Deere dealer sells them , just in green +yellow

 

I've already been to the John Deere dealer. John Deere green with yellow wheels is just too ugly for me to take. If they would offer it in forest green like the rebadged Quest, I'd buy one.

 

they do offer the regular green color , I think it has gray rims with just yellow pinstripe , you just have to ask . The John Deere dealer by my house has 4 or 5 units out ft of the store

 

The dark green/gray rims is a 650 or 500 Quest. Deere calls the original Traxter the Buck, and it's only available in the aforementioned Johnny Popper color scheme.

Sorry sir but you are mistaken. You can still get the 500 in green with black rims. Its called the Trail Buck.

actually sir, you are mistaken, the 500 trail buck which u provided a link to has the CVT tranny, which is what the quests have, the traxter(or buck as JD calls them) has a 5 speed tranny, here is the JD traxter

I dont see why the rims couldnt just simply be painted?
