Default Outlander 400

I am thinking very seriously about buying a 05 or 06 Bombardier 400! Which one should I buy? I know I can get the 05 cheaper since the new model came out but the new model is a little better digital speedo, steel racks and more capacity etc. Is the Outlander 400 as reliable as a Yamaha or a Honda? I have a Yamaha Beartracker 250 for 5 years and all i've done is change the oil and clean air filter and clean it and have had no trouble with it! Is it as reliable over the long haul? Any answers would be appreciated! Thank You!

I have a 05 outlander and i love it. Best choice i made. I rode everything else yamaha, pol, kaw, suz, arctic cat, and honda. IMO the outlader has the best ride out of any machine. Its also very realiable only thing i had to replace is a spark plug.

I have an Outlander powermax 400 2up. Great bike. Zero problems, goes anywhere you point it.

i took out an 06 outlander 400 for an afternoon last weekend, and WOW!, i'm very impressed with it, great power for a 400, does great in the mud, made it throught a lot more than i thought it would, my buddy had a sportsman 400, and theres no way i'd ever buy it that over the outlander,if the 06 isn't that much more i'd get it, and i love the reverse override button, so nice wen your in the mud which is one thing i hate on my uncles traxtor(which hes going to get rid of for and outlander 800)
