I have seen a photo of the new Polaris Outlaw and I just may have to get one. A IRS sport ATV has been a dream of mine for many years. Well know more this weekend.

 

So is it a tard quad with a belt drive transmission, or is it a real sport quad? Enquiring minds want to know.

Chain drive like a mini dune buggy center section has chain and sprocket on left side brake rooter on right side and jack shafts down to wheels. It look like a Predator engine its size could be any thing from a 450 too 700 cc? Look like 10 to 12 inches of wheel travel will be great in desert and x-country flat track racing, MX and TT? It may weigh about 45 pounds more than the Predator . It might even come with a KTM engine now that Polaris and KTM are partners in business

For those that dont know, Poo is releasing this quad on the 22nd of this month, so check out the Poo web site Friday, it will be there. Maybe a newbie to compete with the DS, V-force, and Rappy eh????

 

OMG, OMG, OMG, ... did you say a KTM engine [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]? Show us a picture, I know just exactly what that 525cc bad boy looks like [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]. If they put a KTM 525 in a real sport quad, with 10" to 12" indepenant suspension travel at both ends, it is going to kick butt at desert racing. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

all this about polaris? is bomb releasing anything?

 

DesertViper with Polaris and KTM working together now I would say the earlest for a KTM powered quad would be late 07 early 08. The Outlaw is Polaris powered.

 

Now thats funny right there, I don't care who you are.

 

I am thinking I will be keeping the DS sand only.
