Should i get the standard camo or the xt camo.Im undecided at the moment is it a hell of a lot better.I just got rid of my 03 kawasaki prarie 700 and im going to brp this this year. Will this 800 kill my other quad badly power wise.I cant wait to get my outlander woo hoo.which will be faster the std or the xt.

Well the std is going to be a little bit faster because of the less weight. As for getting the std or the xt you have to look at if your going to buy better tires that come on the xt, and if ur going to buy a winch, also front and rear bumpers. Dont forget about the hand guards. There are many things that come with the XT that is why its $800 more.

If you plan on changing tires right off, I would get the standard. The standard is pre-wired for a winch so getting one should be easy. Plus you can get the other things when you can afford them and not finance them.

I am waiting on the standard Mdl myself. If I get a winch it will be a 3000# ramsey with remote. I also would rather have better rims than anything so for the extra 800 I can get some nice rims. I like the STD mds tires better because they are lighter and should ride smoother, with less agressive tread shoud improve its ability to power slide. the hand guards are (703500553 Outlander 800 models Grey $49.97)
I also was thinking of the belly plate. for extra protection. I guess I would say I would rather just get my own accys so I can pic and chooses what is important to me.

I recomend you rethink the color of the bike. I have a "04" outlander xt camo. When i first saw it i fell in love with it, i just loved the camo, i i thought it was way better than a colored one, but my exitment was short lived. About 2 weeks after i got the bike (15 hours on the meter) i realized that the paint was fading in some areas (resr fender near the plastic strip). The dealer says he can't do nothing about it even with the 6 month bumper to bumper garanty, so i argued with bombardier directly for 6 months and i always get the same awnser, "not a manufacturers default it regular wear and tear so we won't change it". So the decision is yours but i would recomend you get a colored one unless you don't mind the paint fading pretty much everywhere (today).

PS: if you want i can send you pics to show the fading, just give me your e-mail.

My 04 outlander 400 Camo hasnt faded at all and i've never heard of anyone else with this problem so i think yours might be an isolated incident.
