ok I just stapled on my new baja seat cover on my old pan and everything went fine except in the back by the latch I can not get any staples in there due to the plastic being curved, would an upholstery shop have another kind of stapler that would fit in there? damn this males me mad thanks for the info fellas

I bought a cheapo air stapler from harbor freight. I did my seat and Blackhawk seat with no problems. I staple gun is cheap but it does work, it has no safety and fires blanks every now and then. I tried some electric staplers that were supposed to be high power, they did not have enough juice to get through the plastic.
For the rear of the seat I removed the latch and had no problem in that area.

There are smaller, really powerful staplers. An upholstery shop should have one for sure. The staples are tiny. About 1/4" , but they are deep. Where the staple comes out, that is from a long tab looking thing so you can stick it in tiny places.
I bought one of those cheesey Confederate flag seat covers off Ebay. It says to remove existing cover then install. Yeah, right. I was NOT going to remove my perfectly good original. So I wrestled with it for 3 hrs and finally got it on there tight. That was with a regular hand staple gun. It was hard.
