Leaking Radiator Fluid????

Until you are able to find the leak, I would make sure it is full of coolant before starting the engine or you could overheat and damage it. The waterpump seal is usually make up of a rubber seal that surrounds the impeller shaft. There is a weep hole at the waterpump that will seep coolant when the rubber turns hard or is damaged. The coolent system is more likely to leak while the engine is running and warmed up. The heat makes pressure, so the coolant is under pressure and will be forced out more then normal. Hope I helped.

If you are friendly with any auto repair shops, or radiator shop, you might have them do a leak detect test for you. This consists of putting a small amount of fluorescent dye in the cooling system (it has no effect on the system). Then after the bike sets for awhile, or is operated, or both you can take it to the shop and they will shine a hi-intensity black light at the components and the leak will be obvious, even if invisible to the naked eye. Of course you don’t have to be buddies with them, the service may cost more if you aren’t.
