Roll call for ds days!

LMFAO. . .
Man-O-Meter, Man-O-Meter, Man-O-Meter
For those of you that weren't there. . . there was at least one person in camp that kept calling a manometer a Man-O-Meter. We never went as far as plugging it onto our nipples and checking for manhood or anything.
In case anyone doesn't know, a manometer is a way to check pressure in inches of water-column or differential pressure across an orifice (if you know pressure, differential pressure, specific gravity and orifice size you can calculate flow but, that's over my head.)

Well, back from DS days and unpacked. Getting ready for a trip to St Anthony's now. My son is buying another Turbo Busa rail from around there. The guy has a Busa DS for sale also. I am going to look, but my wife would kill me.
It was nice to see all the DS's there and put a face to some of the forum names. I didn't get to talk to as many as I wanted, next time I guess.
Funny story... I saw the TVI turbo bike trying to make some practice passes by camp. It popped and sputtered on a couple of runs then died. I saw Gary go out to it. I rode out to see what was up and asked Gary if they were still having trouble with the bike. He looked at me with a straight face and said 'No, just some fine tuning'. They kept trying and it still wouldn't start. I am no genius, but....
I tried to get some time with Kelly to talk about the turbo systems, but he was allways working on one or the other turbo bikes. Talk about excellent customer service. It seems like the bikes are allways hooked up to a laptop. My son has a Turbo GSXR in a rail. It is using a variable waste gate up to about 20 pounds of boost and pulling through a Mikuni 42. It makes close to 300 hp and is very simple to keep tuned. No pops or sputters, no lean conditions, it just hauls a##. I think I am going to wait some more, or go the Busa conversion route.
My 2 cents about DS day's. Moving around to different dunes would be a nice idea. A little more organization would help. Maybe just a flyer or bulletin board to keep everyone posted on events. I will be glad to help any way I can.
Boondockers sent me a Man-O-meter. I don't know if they sent me the right instructions cause they say I am supposed to hook it up to my bike ??????

I think you were right, it is my boy Johny Cash!
Dsengineer, if you would have said something he would have ran over and ran you i'm sure. If you can run with his your definitly running good. FUnny thing is, we went over to the banshee hill after dark saturday night and ran just me, him , and Matt. Me and Matts bike were whooping up on him. He wasnt geared quite right. Just lets you know have a small gear change can make a huge difference, Oh and a SMALL jet change too!
