Default battery goes flat

For now, you can disconnect the battery when not being used,or hook up a battery tender.
If you have a volt ohm meter, you can disconnect the battery positive cable, and with the key off, put the voltmeter in series, and measure the dc amps, that are flowing when off. Each type of quad is different, and some have memories, and some have digital clocks and such, but roughly, there shouldnt be more than 50 miliamps flowing. If its more than that, youve got something draining the battery.
From there, start disconnecting connectors, until you find the circuit which has the leak. leave the meter hooked up, and when the amps drop, you found the circuit.
