Default Reality check ! Bombardier 800 owners !

I think you need a reality check.

Click here to see his bike on ebay.

Here is a copy and paste of his description...

This bike was Designed to be the ultimate ATV from the ground
up and not to mention this bike has a full snorkel kit and a
$625 set of 27" Mudzilla's that mak the bike go through any
terrain or muck without hesitation.

The Bike has 6hrs. of trail and mud riding only very clean
family issues forces sale. No tire kickers this bike is
priced to go fast and yes you better believe this bike has
as much punch and more top end than my YFZ 450 yamaha.

The suspension is very smooth and offers unparalled performance
across the board. Talk is cheap and this bike means business.
Great for any rider that has ATV experience but be ready and
hang on well because the only limits this bike has is your own.

Best in its class so look out 750 Brute Force cause all you'll
see is the 800's DUST !!!!!!!!!!!

I still have the original invoice $9300 for the bike with a full
3yr. warranty. Brand New 27" Mudzilla's Paid $625, stock tires are
also included in the deal.

UPRJoe- here is some advice for you.... GET A LIFE!

UPRJOE, get a life and stop playing games. Your video doen't prove anything, the part DOES NOT need side to side streath. The part was made to take forces in the up/down dirrection (I'd like to see you do the test on video, but move the part up and down, you can and won't be able too)

Warning- to anyone wanting to purchace his 800 on Ebay, the front A arm and a little weak now, from the part being bent side to side in the video!!!!!

If that bike has time on it it will eventually slot the .075saran wrap metal they are built with. Suppose they should use low grade bolts too because it just a bolt an does not need integrity. Oh I musthav forgot that 630lbs.+ does not need integrity in that area. I must hav overlooked something like all your ego's.
Ok, "Smoking Joe" ever look at the shock tower on your BF750. It's made the same way (and there nothing wrong with that). Many parts in cars, bikes and ATV are only made to be strong in one direction!

Like I said, prove me wrong and do the video again, but this time bend the part UP and DOWN . Good Luck!

There is still no reason it should be so weak like that. I mean look at any other four-wheeler and see if the a-arm is that weak. If you hit somthing it would for sure rip off.

Who says it weak, how many times has that parts has been "worked" before the video, besides there is a other parts that fit onto that part witch would make it stonger?? We still haven't seen the part fail in "real" world ridding situations. When I start to hear about other owner that have the part fail I will believe it!

Now that uprjoe made all the extra changes to improve the part Bomb will void his 3 yr warranty on the front end!!! lol
Watch out Ebay buyers!

I agree, you can't tell me that there isno back and forth forces on the A-arms when you start hitting rocks and bumps and what not... there should be some inherent stength in these parts. I am seriously reconsidering my purchase if this is how its made, I want maximum stength in my compnents. However, if these pieces are bolted together, I expect that there may be the support required to make the setup work. I know BRPs history is VERY good in engineering, so I guess we'll all just have to wait and see. But I don't think we should be bashing this guy for bringing this to our attention, it could be that there is a recall on the way. Some of us will hve to swallow our pride if that happens!
