Joe here is a test for your a-arm mounts. 1-take the brass bearing insert out of your rubber a-arm bushing. 2- place the brass bearing between the mounts {like you were installing the whole a-arm, but just use the brass insert}. 3- tighten the nut and bolt to factory torque specs. 4- try to bent the tabs. You'll find it hard to bend 2 tabs working as a unit. I'm sure bomb knows what the 800 needs. On a side note, if your front end dives when you brake, you need to adjust your front spring preload, not put more air in your tires.

If a person is so concerned abt. safety, why is he selling a wrecked bike (if it is the same one) on ebay with no mention that it has been wrecked. If a person sells a product that he believes to be unsafe and fails to warn the buyer would he then be liable if that person gets hurt?

Why is this being brought back up? Why did you clear out all the post you made on this subject before? Why did another website delete the post? I have a lot of questions about this alleged finding of yours. Have you tested the metal to see what type of alloy or steel it is? Do you have an engineering degree or any metalurgical degrees? Have you taken an ATV safety course? Did you read your owners manual concerning proper vehicle operation? The aftermarket equipment for your quad was it tested and approved by your manufacturer? I have lots of questions and not to be a tail end about this but we need to know the credentials and credibility of you uprjoe so we can fully judge this post. Last but not least if the quad is unsafe why do you choose to sell it to another individual and not return it to the dealer for collection of your money paid?

. The reason for the tire pressure is I like to wheelie for long distances at speed and higher pressure will avoid any problems when you wheelie at speeds above 40mph. The bike has a tendancy to slam down and hurt the tires or wheels with the weight of the 800 or my BF.
wheelie scratches on frame. The scratches on the front of the frame are from pulling wheelies at speed and the spring and suspension are too soft so it will bottom out occasionaly. That was the reason to raise the pressure to 7psi. to avoid this..

Scratches on the frame from bottoming out!!! I don't think so, with the suspension Fully compresed the Outty 800 still has 3in of clearance (maybe even 4in with the tires you have on). Besides if you look closely, the scatches are infront of the lowest point on the skid frame.
