Besides the fact that it won't start...hows about some more info. The guys on here are perty good at figuring out most problems.

Are you getting spark?
Why do you think your not getting fuel? Because the plugs are dry?
Did you just rebuild it and it won't start?
Did it run yesterday and now not today?
A little info leading up to the time it wouldn't start. LIke maybe some issues it was having if any.
Any mods you may have just done? or that the quad just has on it electrical or motor wise
Is the battery in excellent shape? Or do you have to recharge it a lot?
How long has it been since you last checked the valve clearances?

A hard starting ds usually means the valves need adjusted.

Yep, Intake vales are too tight and needs to be set correctly. New shims will be required. If the problem is real bad you might have to get new vales and seats installed. Otherwise some guys cut the valves stems shorter.

Did you place the plug wires back in position? I "had" a friend that used to pull my plug wires while I was away from my bike just so he could watch me fumble for what was wrong when it wouldn't start....

LOL. Sometimes it just the little stuff that will drive you nuts. Bootleg, Sometimes you just have to run stuff down from top to bottom. Sounds silly but is the key on? is the handle bar switch on? is here enough fuel in the tank. is your battery fully charged. Are the spark plug wires pushed fully on. Do you have spark? When the last time you cleaned the tank filter. is the tank vent working right. When you cleaned the carb did you check the float bowl level and check to see if any of the jets were clogged. Is the petcock open? Fuses all good? Just start from top and work down the list. I keep a notepad on my bench and write down everything I have done each time I work on my bike. That way you dont forget a small detail when your putting stuff back together. It also acts as a log book, which can be useful farther down the road. I see this is your first post. Welcome to the forum. there alot of great folks on here that really know their DS's and are always willing to help a brother in need.
