Dial-A-Jet Opnions wanted ?
#1
Hi Guys,
I am almost ready to get my DS tuned after my most recent mods and was wondering if the Dial-A-Jet system worked well with the TM45 Carb ?
The bike's tuning is close but has a few bogs in it and I was curious if the "Dial-A-Jet" system was worth the time and effort to install on a moddified bike.
Tuning is not my thing, if its a bolt on I am good to go but I just lack the talent and want a vary care free system no matter where I am at.
This may even save me the money for the "Professional Tune up" job.
Just curious....

Even with the dial a jet, you should have it tuned almost spot on, and then it is handy for quick jetting adjustments suh as swapping back and forth exhausts, air box lid on or off depending on conditions, and temp/altitude.... all instances where you almost know what jet you need. It may however be benifical to you in you case as well, and yeah it should work on the tm45, as long as you don't have direct mount filter i believe. Just take a guess at your jetting needed, then use the dial a jet to go up or down from there and let us know what it does.
