Dumont - Thanksgiving - Winter DS Day's???

...At least Dumont is bigger than Pismo, meaning the same number of nuts in a larger area. I still don't get your Pismo kick. We're going to have to break you of that one of these days. Have fun out at Pismo!
I think you need to get out more on all guys trips, or get your wife a quad so she wont be as concerned about shopping.

Where was everybody? I know the wind sucked BAD!! 50 mph!
There was ALOT of HP on the hill. Alot of new stuff leaking around for the upcomming races at glamis.
Sparks had some wicked drag frame bikes doing high 60s maybe 70 mph.
THEM V-FORCES HAUL AZZ!! They were hitting 60mph, they are heavy though. I got to give props to Sincity Duner and Ken. You guys have them things hauling on nos... BIgdaddy need to put his bike on a diet and he will be screaming up that hill, AND CHANGE THAT PIPE BACK MIKE!!
I didnt see Duneme or eagle or Dave.
Good to see and meet all the yfz teck guys, They had a good shootout Sat. Dumont is the best!!
My bike picked up about 5 lengths due to chassis set-up and new shocks. Oh and some stuff in the fuel, NO NOS this time. Man I feel bad for the poeple who came long distances that got pumbled by the wind.
We stayed in the trailer and drank, and drank.lol I drank wingnut under the table, He passed out with his face down on the couch and I got it on tape LMAO he dont know it yet.lol
There was a VERY impressive home built (or private shop) built honda 450r on the bottle that was said to hit 68 mph. I was so impressed with that bike. Met a few peeps from the connection out there too. Hope everyone made it back safe.
Good to see Kam and crew with all there stuff, CPC has a fast stock bore yfz too, Phatblacks was impressive as well.
I should have my entire bike re-done and lightened within as few weeks, Then the fun begins.
Oh, and raptorowners craycraft 730 (I think craycraft) It was haulin **** bigtime, especially on the top end. Darren, I think your ONLY problem is letting poeple jump you out of the hole, in these races 2 lengths out of the hole is too much too catch up, but your bike was beating most of what I saw. Even my stock bore was getting pulled away on top. My bike was shutting down early cause the rear was basically strutted and un stable.
I think all this hillshooting comes down to fine tuning as bikes change set-ups they need to re adjust.

Yea, Saturday night the wind kicked up something SICK. My pal had his Cummins parked out away from our toyboxes and we had to dig it out the next morning. Sand driffs to just under the axles. Stayed in our toy box with friends and watched Uncle Buck. Now that is the big difference between me and Mario. He spent the windy night partying, and I spent it watching a classic with family and friends. Not sayin that I don't like a cold one.....but UNCLE BUCK RULES!!!!!!
SICK fast machines out there this weekend. More than I have EVER SEEN in any one weekend. Don't let Mario fool ya... his bike was VERY FAST and once he shaves even more weight off - the jig is up. In fact I'll go out on a limb here, I put his stock bore up against ANY STOCK BORE out there without juice. The pig is that fast. I'm sure his bike can hit 60 with little effort.
My bike lost a few paces up the hill. Made some changes last week for the worst. I'll be back for NewYear's and it should be running very fast with a different pilot. Don't get me wrong, the HPR 730 ran well, but it was faster two weeks ago. The Mario-half breed pipe is going back on. Also going to do some super secret stuff..... Super Secret except for Mario, he knows what's going down.
I told you guys about the Kawi's. Ken's Machine is by far one of the most impressive machines that I've ever seen (Don't mean to leave you out SinCityDuner - Good meating you). Not only is the thing a tank in stock form, but he's probably added 30 pounds (minimum) to it. Running 24" Haulers and a darn tank bag as well as FULL NERFS on it. Oh, and thanks for the screw driver Ken. Finally got the NoS tunned in, but then put a bad bottle on it before I saw you on Sat. Actually a good bottle, but forgot to take the pick up tube out of it. So the first couple of runs were good, but then I quit pulling liquid. Stupid mistake but easily fixed. Unfortunately I have to waste a little over 2lbs of juice to fix it.
Bottom line, if you think you're top dog on your local 300ft track, come play in our sand box for a day on a big weekend. You'll be eating humble pie for a week afterwards. Even LTZ/KFX 400 in full drag dress torching full drag banshees. You name it, it's out here. And dragging up Banshee hill was just about the very best venue you could hope for. NOT ONE WHOOP, VERY SOFT TAKE OFFS, AND A LONG HILL. Come see us on NewYear's. We'll show you how the west coast plays.
Mario, let Margaret know that I'm still gunnin for her!!!! She's going to owe me big after I put the smack-down on her.
Al, get a bike...... that jacked golf cart is good for getting chicks but you're married!!!!!!!

Arrived Tuesday afternoon and everyone in my group had been there since the Saturday before so they left Friday morning. . . Wife and I decided to load up and head-out as well.
Sand was real rough and we heard the wind was coming.
Sorry I missed everyone. Don't know if I could have found anyone anyways. Place was packed.
Trip was kinda a dud for us. . . lots of driving for very little riding.
We ate great though! Deep fried turkey on T-Day. AWESOME.
Went to the hill after eating and MAN. . . was it dusty!
Wife pulled the trigger on the new trailer last week so, the new WW is on order! Now just need to start working on her on the rail. Then. . . one of the Girl's will have to go!

It was so great to see all you guys and hang/race with you.
Mario's jockey was making that thing go!
We had a few of our bikes there, mostly duners, running mid 50's and got the drag bike clicking 61's all day on Friday We tried a bit more tire on Sat, and lost 5 mph, and a hole shot. At least we know now! We were mostly just getting it figured for Glamis. Our hill and elevation is so off the stuff at Dumont and Glamis, we had to drive there to try it out , otherwise take tons of tires to Glamis in January. I think we know where we need to go to get it to mid 60's.
Mario, that homebuilt 450R is my Idaho buddies, did it have a KBR sticker? THose guys are so cool, we were camped with them. THey got potential to hit low-mid 70's on that hill on the bottle. They run 10-12 faster on Utah and Idaho size hills with NO2, but were battleing the bottle gremlins (not to mention head gaskets, and cracking cylinders) and were not getting all they could out of the bottle. We were racing with them with them all motor on Friday and they were running 63-4 on gas. They got 70 a few times on Sat (on NO2), but toasted the bike and called it a trip. THey will be with us at $SW.
Those V forces were so damn inpressive,, nice work guys.
What was up with that Yellow bike with the Rotax in it? It was pretty fast.
THanks again to all of you for the hospilatity! What a great bunch of sports, no wonder this is so much fun.

Good reads,
Sounds like everyone was competitive, and had a FUn SAFE time aswell. Your WIND made it to OK yesterday, 50mph constant winds!
But hey , the dunes wouldn't be Dunes without the wind just gotta love it!

Yes, indeed ther were ALOT of fast 4 strokes.
I was extremely impressed with those v-forces.
A big thanks to Kam and Marty of KBR for answering so many questions about my son's 450R.
And it seems I'm losing my ability to ride a DS.
i've been riding Hondas and Yamaha since the summer., I may be losing it.
Sorry Mike.
I may pick up something next year but I am spending my money on my son's quad this year. Got to keep up with the little girl on the YFZ.

I stayed home while a couple of friends went out to Glamis. After they returned I was glad I decided to stay around the house. 50-60 mph winds? I don't think it fits well with my tent....lol
El mirage wasn't much better I'm told. My two Brother-in-laws got nailed for no current Reg and were told to pack the bikes up or they will be impounded.
