Dumont - Thanksgiving - Winter DS Day's???
#51
Hey guys sorry I missed everyone. We stopped at Armagosa on wednesday and rode till thursday. Arrived at Dumont and rode thursday and friday. Dunes were very chopped and crazy packed. Once the wife almost got smoked by the village idiot it was time to leave. Went back to Armagosa and the dunes were awesome Sunday after the wind storm. Pretty much virgin sand all day! Want to go back to Dumont sometime during a non holiday weekend.

Ya, Al you got to pick up a quad, you should build a YFZ or a TRX for your self while doing your sons.
And by the way later Sat I put my stock carb back on and was running better with it so Im happy. You can lighten up your sons TRX quick, take off that front bumper, front brakes, heelguards and cut fenders. Those brats should kick some butt on that bike...

In my defence, I don't know that I passed out, I'd like to call taking a nap so I could hang for rounds3,4,5 etc......lets just hope that video Mario took stays of the forum...lol but hey it can always be worse.....All was well except for the tornado winds.........CP

The Honda didnt break, a little to full on the crankcase oil with the added crankcase pressure made it look bad but it was still running great. I do have some stuff to work out , but am very happy with the way the Quad ran and thanks for all the props you have all givin me.

she was a nervous wreck when I took them off my DS.
The weight will come off slowly but surely.
First step is the axle and the rear tires.

Hey, haha about the brakes, but the axle is a good start, I think that axle is around 10lb with hubs, and the stocker is 20+ lbs. Whens the next time you guys are going to be out at Dumont, wont be going out this weekend, but we finally sold our DS, $4000 cash, meeting the guy in Barstow. Picking up a 06 YFZ soon for my mom, Ill put my SS1s on the new bike and now looking for some Haulers for my bike
