I wouldn't throw stones at Armagosa either.... I'd throw BOULDERS!!! Two hours at Armagosa and you've seen it all. Funky dirt/sand, lousy transitions and no real good parking places to speak of. I'll take Dumont anyday and twice on off holiday outings.

I'm good for either Sat or Sun, but Blackhawk may of hit it on the head with Dumont on Sat.

How do they work the trip.... Do they give you an ice chest and dump you in the desert? I may have to bring some easy ups and some chairs. Would hate to show you such poor hospitality. Let me know what you need and I'll bring it.

probably wont bring the toy hauler. Probably just bring my day trailer and essentials for the day.

So at this point, who is planning to hit Dumont for the weekend of the 11th & 12th? I might be looking at just making a day trip for Saturday, not sure how badly I want to setup the tent. Though I should see if the Truck Tent Sandaholic gave me for free will fit. Maybe I'll have time to do that tomorrow.

I just got back from Dumont. Three days 11/3 11/4 11/5. Ride report : first day was pretty windy but still rideable. It left the dunes butter smooth when it died down. What really amazed me was the amount of people out there. NO-ONE ! Total number of campers out there was less than 20. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] This was my first time there and expected a few more people to be there. Day 2 was even better. Less wind and still no campers. Later in the evening you could see people coming in, but still not bad. We left Sat morning and the conditions were perfect. No wind very few people but it was time to go[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] I guess everyone was out there during Halloween.

 

Im probably going this weekend, 10-13 to Dumont, we will be bringing a YFZ, DS650 Baja, and Banshee.

 

So what day is it going to be for Dumont.

I will have Dave's YFZ and my son will be coming with his 450R. We will be working on tire/gearing set up as I am getting him some 20" 6 paddle Haulers this week.

I'll also be riding Marios Pig for him if he shows.

 

If my tie rods show i'll shoot for a day trip on Saturday.

 

Eagle I have tie-rods. If you want them just show up.

I should be able to do Sat and Sun for Dumont.

 

Etomber...thanks bro but my Arms are +2 +1. The stock rods are 2" to short. Al offered me his over the Holloween weekend. Thats when I realized that the stockers were to short.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]
