I have always wondered if the fan on my 2001 ds worked I have only heard it come on when it was new 2 times. Never again since then. But I always had it checked when it was serviced and it always worked, so I was told. In the 5500+ miles it only came on when it was new until the harescramble yesterday it came on three times through out the race. So I guess it does still work.
