Ya know, I'm not so sure I like the idea of Calling Marky "B.D.M." those letters spell a lot of different things - one of them being "Bondage & Discipline Man." Great, so now Marky is going to show up at the dunes wearing spiked leather and a gimp costume?!?!?! Uhm, I'm glad I live many, many miles away!!

I do recall a conversation with Marky out at Sand Mountain about the friend who lives near St. A's and telling him he should move on out or at least buy a vacation home out there!

 

Well I just got back from a day's worth of riding. I tell you what these dunes out here are about the best I've seen. The sand is nice and uniform and there is bowl after bowl after bowl. The peoplel are great too. We ended up renting two quads (one for my buddy and one for me) and then two of his friends who live out here went riding with us. The quads we rented were pretty slow, but, we made it work. Its quite a challenge to get used to something like that after having something with a lot more power. After a while, I sorted of learned I needed a lot of momentum to get where I needed to go. By the afternoon I was jumping that heavy beast and having a good time. My buddy did end up tipping his on the side after a jump - blew the tire off the bead and it went over. No problem, nobody got hurt. I even ended meeting some of Jed's friends with Bombers too. Oh, we ended up getting the bead back by doing the ether trick - worked like a charm! They say land is cheap out here - seems the closer you are to the dunes, the cheaper the land is. Its something for me to think about for sure.

Now that is a statement that is HARD to Argue with - seems to me a great place to open up a little shop Marky! Start working weekends, take two weekdays off to ride [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

 

Marky, it must of been Jeff you met, is that right? Got a custom ODP cap? Or should I say Bondage Man, LOL!!

Man I want to get out there to ride. Marky I am Jealous. Sounds like you have a good time though.
