Snorkel tube bracket...where?
#2
I seen someone here made one that mounted to the frame. Myself I used a big zip tie, Works great, easy to replace. Makes getting the snorkle off for any carb work a snap. Plus It made to where I can scoot the filter and snorkle over to make enough room to hide my bottle

Made mine out of alum. Had a fab shop cut me a piece and put a 90 degree bend in it. Then drill a 4 1/4" hole for the snorkle tube. I drilled and slotted some holes and bolted it to the upper front bolt holes in the rear fender. Worked perfect. Also mounted a tab for the breather tube and breather filter.

Hi there SCOUNDREL,
I kind of looked around for one but ended up picking up a piece of polished Diamond plate cut and trimmed it to size, drilled the needed holes to hold it on securely to the frame.
It looks pretty good & matches the Diamond plate battery support cover I made and does the job pretty nicely.
Total cost .... 10 bucks.... 2.00 for the diamond plate and 8.00 for the beer.
Enhhh gave me some thing to do.

Im not a fan of jury rigging either but there was no way to get any sort of bracket in there with the bottle under there, Eventually I will probably move the bottle up front and put a bracket on there but its just too much fun having it in stealth mode.

I like enexpensive so I just took a 2 inch hole saw and put as many holes as I could without jepordizing the integrity of the box , dump the lid and took a propane tourch to melt all the curly cues created by the hole saw and ta - da , most of the airbox is gone and the rectifer still has a home. Quick and fast gradifacation.
