Has anyone heard from 1BigDSRider, MrMeaner or Fast69 since the Rita storm. I hope they are doing fine. I haven't seen them post in the jamboree thread.

 

I have heard from all 3 and none really mentioned anything majorly wrong. I sure hope all is well. From what I understand all 3 are planning on being at the Jamboree.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Im fine and my place and my families homes are ok. Some shingles are off and trees down everywhere, couple of holes in roofs but nothing major.
I'm still in shock after seeing all the damage in the area. I got to ride to Cameron Parish this week, its the parish on the coast due south of my parish. ITs been completely destroyed. Nothing left standing. Its bad.

WE did ok here just out of power for 3 days but have been working 7 day aweek too catch up on work thay still have dedlines. Thanks Guy.

Yah I'm just out side of the Dallas area. What were you in Dallas for?

 

I was there for the apta (american public transportation authority) bus convention and rodeo. DART ( Dallas area rapid transit) Hosted the national rodeo this year. I wish I would have known you were close. I would have went for a Whataburger with you. we had a lot of spare time, and cruised all over Dallas/ ft.worth area. sorry to butt in on this thread by the way.

Well If I had known we could have whataburger or steaks at trail dust streak house right next door to the rodeo LOL Let me know if your in Dallas again & the steaks will be on me.

 

BBQ at billy Bobs was good too. I will take you up on that steak next time. later
