Hey, how you doing? Ithink i have dealt with you on ebay before. I do have a old tachometer that does not work any more, do you want it??? It is out of a 2002 Bombardier DS-650 Baja i have all ready replaced mine it cost 209.99$ Can.

My 04 bajaX had the tacho sticking from brand new(around the 4K-6K mark and if I tapped the glass it would come good) and I had it replaced under warranty and have not had a problem since, with about 85hrs on her now!!

I would say some other people had this same prob, but did'nt get it replaced under warrentee and it sounds like a common prob for some.

 

hey i know this is an old thread but if anyone gets this and can help.

i got a ds650 2002 model and at the back of my Autometer tachometer there is 3 wires. there was one lose wire a green one and it is long i got no idea were it is superpose to go. my needle was just spinning around the clock so when i pulled it off i dont know if i pulled the wire off or what would be the cause

any help would be appreciated

On the Autometer Tach's in my race cars, the green wire goes to the - side of the coil.
