different ones have different features and advantages.
CP makes RWR pistons, the RWR pistons have a gapless second ring to supposedly help combat some of the blowby that causes positive crankcase pressure and reduce a little of the oil dribble from the crankcase breather hose.
They also have a thicker crown for use with nitrous, to keep combustion heat farther away from the top ring.
JE makes many piston and ring variations. lots of dealers and builders use the JE's - Pami, MrHP, etc. they also have a superlight version with a shorter wrist pin for quicker reving.
they are both quality. its like picking from honda, yam, or Bomb.
if you buy piston and cams from the same place, then you can be certain the valve pockets in the top of the piston are machined to clear the lift and duration of the cams.
