A buddy of mine is lookin to buy a new Outlander 800. I was in the same market about a year ago and you all were so helpfull I thought that I would ask again.
What's the best deal that anyone has gotten on a new 800. I know that there are a few choices to choose from but he just wants the single seater without the winch. I think that they retail for 8599 but you all know how the dealers don't like to make any deals on brand new models.

I picked up a red single seater non xt model about two weeks ago for $8300 OTD here is southern CA. I am originally from MI so I had done some checking all over from here to VT (maybe pick one up visiting family during Christmas) and this was the best deal I could come up with. Most dealers here wanted to start at the $8600 list price and add on all the extra (dealer prep,shipping, tax, etc.etc) This guy knew I had done some homework on the Outlander 800 and he didnt have to do anywork other than paperwork and it was sold Plus it was a cash deal so I think that helped. I only have about 90 miles on mine and its been better than expected especially the POWER!

I have one on order from a local dealer. Paid $8,699.00 O.T.D. for the XT model, not the MAX. Salesman mentioned a "Code 66" that would allow an additional discount of $200.00.
