I'm looking for paddle tires for my stock 2001 DS650. How many paddles on the tire?

Thanks

Go for a 8 or 9 paddle tire anymore and you will bog the engine. I like the STU Padle Brat myself.

I would not go more than 8, In the Oct. issue of 4-wheel ATVACTION they tested the new 9 paddle ITP Magnum on their modified DS ( Ron Woods stage2) and their assessment was it too bogged down even with 6.5psi. Keep in mind that they were running a 23*10.5*12 and this is a tall tire. They did some damage to the rear fenders so I would not go with any thing taller than a 21, unless you plan on doing some modifications to your plastic.
I run on some 20*10*10 w/8 paddle Haulers and have been pleased, I am planning on picking up some new rubber this comming spring and am looking at this package;
Sand Tires Unlimited Sand Skate 1
rears- 21*12*10 8 paddle (Comp grooved)
" " " Razorback
front- 22*8*10
good luck!

I use 22x11x10 V-type 10 paddle and it didn't bog at all! Even in wet sand!

I thought ScoobyDFW had some for sale:

For Sale: 20x10x10 9-paddle Skat-Trak Haulers

These are what I run, and have no problems. It is almost too much traction, I like to slide around some. I paid $290 for the pair w/rims.
