I run something like that on my quad. I got it from Sand45 aka Fernando, where he got it I do not know but I believe it was at Sand Mt. DuneMe???
No dyno results but it deffinately runs better than with the filter on the carb.
$170 to 180 is nuts, $45 is about right.

I'm dynoing a Suz lt560 right now. I had a set back with the pipe I'm working on so it looks like another week before the new tube gets dynoed.

The new tube should flow good. It has a large filter(bigger than the one in the box) on the end and the inside of the pipe is 64mm.

That looks like the same filter RWR is putting on the YFZ-450 air flow kit - I have one of those filters - ITS HUGE

This will be nice if it truly is a good hp gain through the entire powerband. Seems we have had the same stuff to choose from for a long time as far as power adders go, so if this shows a couple of ponies or a better curve it would be worth it.

My buddy got somthing very similar to this for his yfz, but we hacked up his airbox so that the sides and bottom still provide a bit of protection. I would probably try to do the same with the DS, as we do ride in the rain and wet/muddy condition occasionally.
