Engine cutting out

Need to check the overflow hose on the gas tank to ensure that it is not pinched somewhere along the way. Then the fuel line from the tank to the carb. Then the two filters inside the tank, if no obstructions found to this point. You can also loosen or remove the gas cap and see if you are having the same symptom prior to tracing the overflow hose. Could be bad gas too.
Hope you track the bug down so you can get back to riding.

Exactly chiro, I just wanted to see where he got with the fuel and intake part first. It's an easier start. Also what everyone recommended to me along with the valve adjustment. Mine, like yours turned out to be the Regulator/Rectifier. Sure gave every indication though of too much air or not enough gas...
Hope it turns out simple for beerbudget, I picked up the reg/rec from eBay for $15, been running flawlessly since. I didn't have the headlight deal though, mine ran like *** no matter what was on or off!

Hi: Glad I took the time and scanned the forum. My wife swamped and stalled her 2003 Bobadier Quest if 4 foot of water. Was only a couple of minutes before she was towed out. Pulled the air box and that was dry. Thought how luky I was to let her try. Yeh! after cranking and dry gas the plug finaly got it to Idle. 6 guys turned it eveyway you can imagine to drain. Flat towed it at a Idle for 15 miles back to the trailer and still dies out when you rev it up. Drained the complete gas tank and lines carb. replaced the coil pac. The dealer said to pull all the conections and blow out. I felt that the rev limiter may be shorting out. Have two electronic packs on it. 1 on the air box and one up under the handle bar. Our great Dealers dont even know what they are. Will try the headlight tomarow. Thanks for any other recomendation. Later whatsup
