actually 222 is correct on the lobe center I was mistaken.

 

The stock cam closes the intake at 45 ABDC
Adding 21 would make this then 66 ABDC
Woods A1 is 58 and Woods 7 is 72 ABDC
For a mildly tuned motor this would be too high.
Retarding the cam would lower cylinder head pressure by 20 - 22 PSI
Compression would have to be raised by 1 to regain PSI.
I think retarding the cam 5-8 degrees for a carb (mildly tuned) motor may have merit.

 

On stock cams, I can buy that. The turbo is making power at least 1000rpm higher than stock, so it probably fell right into peak power.

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Nah, it don't matter anyway, nobody is going to buy that many camshafts to optimize duration, lift, lobe centers, ramp rate, etc... Then change their engine a little and have to start the process all over again.
