I just tradded mt Brute for and outty 800 XT it cost me $1600 more than a new Brute But I got the winch and some pretty good radial tires included witht the XT package and I didn't have to do the work myself. In my opinion it was money well spent, I think in every aspect the Outty is an improvement over the Brute, the ride is way smoother and much more stabe, hardly any bumpsteer compared to the Brute. The Outty has a clunky shifter though, hate to spend that much money and have to rock it back and forth to shift it (that is what is recomened in the manual). I tulely loved My Brute but my butt loves this new Outty. As for speed I have not seen them side by side, but the top end on my Brute was 61 and I only had a short road to try the Outty and I hit 70 and still climbing.

hey elkbow I read that you wanted an outy 800 but didn't have the $ well I would go reserve a renegade 800 which is better then the outy 800 well I think so since its more sporty but still has 4x4.You will pay around 9k for it but well worth the $ I ordered mine and am paying for it but luckily I have time to save up since I am only 17. It is supposed to come out around Nov-Dec.

I HAVE A 2008 BF 750 AND JUST CHANGED THE POS STOCK TIRES TO ITP SS RIMS WITH MUD LITE XL (26X12X12 REAR // 26X10X12 FRONT)
....HAVENT NOTICED ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE SUSPENSION..

I KEEP IT SET TO THE MIDDLE SETTING FOR THE SHOCKS (THERE ARE 5 SETTINGS, I KEEP IT ON THE 3RD ALL AROUND) .....IS THAT THE BEST SETTING?

ALSO, DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY SOEMTIMES I STALL (EVEN WHEN THE MACHINE IS WARMED UP) LIKE IF IM ON A MOUNTAIN OR SOMETIMES IN A TIGHT SPOT, ITTL JUST STALL. THERES ONLY 45 HOURS ON IT.
