Default Air Fuel Ratio gauges

I am sure this has been done before, but unable to find any posts on it. I would like to have a way to tune my ride, and our other three without all of us haging out and throwing $$$ at the dyno. I am thinking that if I can get an Air Fuel Ratio guage that we could clip to the end of the exhaust pipes then the 4 of us could split the cost and always be tuned very clost to what we want. Anyone have any recomendations on this? Thanks all

I have both of these. The LM-1 wideband O2 sensor has data logging and you can analyze the data on your computer or laptop. They are very accurate. They need 12 volt source to run them. I use them for drag racing and on things like tuning a blown 300C SRT-8, lawn mowers, pressure washers, motorcycles. quads, etc,..

But can you clip it at the end of the exhaust pipe and still get an acurate reading? It would not be worth the money if I can only do one bike, but great if I can split it between the four guys in my crew.

I love my lm-1 and would recommend it to anyone. It comes with a bung you weld into the exhaust to screw the 02 sensor into but you can buy an exhaust wand to stick down the tailpipe.
I went to radio shack and bought an accessory plug that I hooked up to the battery on my Raptor. Then you can plug the unit into it while riding the bike, and take realtime readings all through the rpm range in each gear.
You will see EXACTLY where you run rich and where you run lean.

Where do you save the readings too when your riding?? I have the kms efi It uses the MEGATUNE software. Only way I can think of to save the readings while I ride is to strap my laptop to my back. I get it?!! Your just reading the a/f gauge while you ride , right??

You dont need to save the readings unless you really want to (im sure there is a way to do it)
you just look at the real time numbers at various rpms while riding and then from there see what your ratio is and see if it needs to be changed.

I am not cencerned about recording the readings. On the Dyno you don't get through the gears do you??? I just wanted to know if this was a good alternate choice to hours of Dyno time???

The LM-1 is capable of recording your readings in real time.
Just hit the record button and start taking your readings.
Ive recorded more that 20 , 1/4 mile runs on it at a time then downloaded all the info to my pc for evaluation.
You can print it out and write down on each sheet exactly what your jet sizes , needle size, clip location, ect, ect.
You can see exactly what changes affect your af ratios at each rpm range in each gear.

The LM-1 has 40 minutes worth of buffer that stores the data in the unit. Later you can upload to a PC or laptop and plot out graphs.
It can record multiple channels of data. I also use the Aux Box that has extra data inputs.
For example when I drag race I measure A/F ratio, Boost pressure, RPM's Gforce, Dwell and exhaust gas temperature.

For ATV's recording A/F throughout the RPM range would be all most would need.
