HP 730 kit- hard to install??
The better question would be...
Have you ever worked on a motor before? If you have, then it's really no big deal. If you have never worked on an over head cam type motor, then you'll probably need a manual (which I recommend to all noobs and season'd guy alike) and a helper who has done this type of work before. In terms of time, it took me about 3 hours, but that is because I took the entire motor out. Once it was out, I notched my frame (very cleanly - no hack job) and re-painted. Now the same job would robably take me about an hour and a half. There is a bit of work taking all the motor mounts out and dropping/tipping the motor. The notch makes it very easy.
Let us know if you need more help. You'll really like the kit. Very clean and very reliable.

That's exactly why I notched my frame. I actually held off from doing it over the last three years. But since I play so much with the engine it seemed pretty logical. Next time I'll show you what I did. Very clean and looks stock. You'd never know that it wasn't supposed to be there. Then again, i'm pretty **** about my bike.
Very easy to do head work now. No more bolts in the back of the motor or motor mounts in the front. One head/frame bolt and that's it.
