ASR Update???

ASR Update???
I've searched on ASR upper a-arms on this forum, last info i read was that they improved the joints. Was this true?
I have a bad upper ball joint, and searched at robsperformance and are almost $120!!!! plus shiping.
I do give the suspension a bad time, runing motocross and desert races.
I am happy with the oem part, it lasted almost 2 years of ABUSE. If I cant expect this same life span with ASR I will go with the original one.
