i was going to order one for january( so they say), but when you start digging
it is the same as the 800 for the most part...less hp ofcourse but is heavier about 10lbs
so i was like whats the point, same quad less hp and more weight..i got the 800
still is sweet, i do agree with that!

nice to have choices, but with the 800 only being another $700 I'd go for it rather than the 650, JMO.
curious, I do not remember what the torque of the 800 is, and if you try to look at the specs on the BRP site for the 800 it gives you the 650 specs!! I wanted to compare the two, to see exactly what that extra $700 is getting you.
the DS specs are still there though, and it looks like the v-twin 650 has the same torque output as the single cylinder DS650 does.
